Kellie Hansen

Kellie Hansen - Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician is available for appointments Monday to Friday and sees clients under GP Mental Health Care Plans, NDIS participants, Employee Assistance Programs, provides relationships therapy (Gottman level 1) and provides clinical supervision to a range of mental health practitioners in Bunbury and via telehealth around Australia.

Kellie provides evidence-based psychological therapy for mental health and wellbeing for children, adolescents and adults (5 years and over) with a strength-based, trauma-informed, holistic approach. Therapeutic modalities include Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) including CBT, psycho education, motivational interviewing, relaxation strategies, EMDR and skills training. Kellie also draws from other modalities including Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Lifestyle Medicine, Neurobiology, Hypnotherapy, Minecraft Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy (Luna the therapy dog attends some days) and expressive therapies including sand tray, play therapy and clayfield therapy.

Kellie has nine years experience working in counselling/psychological therapy roles including domestic violence, sexual assault, refugees and asylum seekers, forensics counselling, EAP and with neurological conditions.

Kellie is committed in undertaking her own clinical supervision (both individually and within a group) and professional development to ensure she maintains an evidence based and reflective approach to mental health treatment for clients.
